When I was a kid my parents used to take me to Groupon dentists and they were all scam artists so now I’m very careful about how I choose my dentist lol. For some reason it seems dentistry attracts some folks that really shouldn’t be in medicine (trying to do unnecessary procedures, mostly). At first, I was worried about this place since they have so many reviews but they are the real deal! Note, I’m also pleased to say their technicians are extremely skilled and gentle/precise, never experienced this level of expertise before. The one time they had someone temping I could tell they weren’t from the same office as it felt like a “normal” cleaning. Their head dentist is also very knowledgeable, professional, kind. One piece of feedback: try and avoid rescheduling appointments as much as possible. it’s harder for me to reschedule than to go to an appointment I already committed to 6 months prior for something like this

I didn’t finish out my appointment with them, I immediately called around places in the area, for an appointment, and landed with Flex dental. They are perfect in every way. My first consultation visit was very detailed. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, fair, and professional. They make dental work affordable, and don't pressure you into major decisions or sneak in fees for dubious procedures. They work quickly and efficiently and listened to all of my concerns. They are officially and unequivocally the only dentist I will recommend to anyone who needs work done!
Just moved to Tampa, but my husband moved here first months ago because of his relocation. So he already chose here for our new dentist and already had a cleaning here. I cracked a tooth and was in so much pain… They took me in quickly and root canal-ed me and got me out of pain so fast. They were vert sweet and funny and kind. I heard the doctor talking to other patients and he seemed to know everyone! They all asked about his kids. I'm a Gator, and it didn't hurt seeing the University of Florida diploma on the wall!

Filled out the online info and was contacted within 20 mins. They scheduled me same day, so within a couple hours they had me on the chair helping to relieve the pain I was having. I've been taking the antibiotics and I'm feeling great. The price was extremely fair and they didn't push anything on me. They were very understanding of my situation. They did everything to put me at ease and made the entire process painless. Came back here after a very unpleasant experience with a dental office apparently owned by a large corporation. In comparison this practice is small, intimate, and full of well-meaning honest individuals. No one ever “up-sells” anything and if a patient declines a treatment, ok, no problem, they’ll work with you. Even thought it’s a bit of a drive, I’ll probably continue to see this practice for a long time.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Dr. Gubernick is very compassionate, honest and caring dentist. I've had a lot of bad experiences with countless dentist which has lead to having bad dental anxiety. Dr. Grubernick is very senstive to that. He is gentle and makes sure to explain every single process so you know what to expect and feel comfortable. His office staff is very professional, courteous, and are always willing to get you in right away if you run into an issue. Highly recommend!

Good people here. Dr. Gubernick and his assistant Julyah were both delightfully easy to talk to and efficient with the cleaning/checkup. Everything was very clean and organized from front to back, which I admire as a new patient. I’ve had a lot of work done over the years and this was probably one of my best experiences. My first visit to Flex Dental was a very positive experience. The office crew was great to work with from the first phone call to arriving for my appointment and sorting out my insurance coverage. That department is an important component of good interaction with a medical practice. Then the dental staff were pleasant and informative as they helped me through X-rays and cleaning -- Renzo is a great hygienist. Dr. Gubernick was very personable and professional as he checked out my oral health and explained his approach to my treatment. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and caring -- smiles all around. Update: Still very happy after regular cleanings and a new crown. Dr. Gubernik is still running a first-class operation.

I highly recommend Flex Dental. I just moved to the area so I took a chance on a new place. The work I had done was a routine clean, filling, teeth whitening and tooth bonding to fix a small gap between my front teeth. Every bit of the work done by Dr. Gubernick, Ellie and Julia was top notch. My teeth are now two shades whiter and the gap is now gone. You could never tell the material was not my actual teeth. My insurance did not cover the whitening or the bonding as it was cosmetic but they were both surprisingly inexpensive. Also every office has a tv with HGTV on which helps distract from any discomfort. The whole team is very personable and also puts you at ease with great conversation. Julia is super funny. Will always come back here.

I was looking for a dentist closer to my place and decided to go with Flex dental. Have been here only once so far and it was a great experience. Everyone was professional, friendly and education-oriented, which I appreciate because I like to know what's being suggested and why. As someone who used to be a dental assistant herself, I have high expectations from dental offices and this one certainly met my expectations. The place was uber clean and well organized.... very pleasant to be in. The only thing that prevented a 5 star was the long wait before I was taken in. To add, no one checked with me or informed me of how long the wait would be. They were polite and courteous to acknowledge the delay once they took me in though, which I respect very much. All in all, I was happy and now my husband is their patient too. We will be back for sure.

This place was amazing. The hygienist was efficient and kind, the doctor was succinct and knowledgeable. From the moment of reception, we felt like this was the right place. Every visit here is wonderful! The office is extremely clean and I never have to wait too long before being seen. Today, the hygienist was ready for me as soon as I walked in the door. They also offer later appointments on Thursday, which is super convenient with my work schedule. I’ve been a patient for a little over a year and I’m so glad I found this office!

Love it here! Everybody is super friendly and playful and they work well together. Dr. Gubernick and the dental hygienist (forgot his name, sorry!) are great people and made the experience wonderful during my cleaning and fillings. They are very thorough in explaining everything and making sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Samantha, the office manager, worked so hard to get me in when my insurance provider was being stupid and telling me the office didn't accept my insurance, when they actually did. Recently paid a visit to get a cleaning done, and take a look at some cavities I had on my back molars. Doctor Renzer took care of the cleaning with great detail, took his time, and did a wonderful job. There was no pain, no buggy anesthetic feels in the mouth for the whole day, so couldn't be happier about my dental hygiene right now. These two definitely make a great couple as hygienist and dentist, make sure to pay them a visit as well.

Recently paid a visit to get a cleaning done, and take a look at some cavities I had on my back molars. Doctor Renzer took care of the cleaning with great detail, took his time, and did a wonderful job. Dr. Gubernick and the dental hygienist (forgot his name, sorry!) are great people and made the experience wonderful during my cleaning and fillings. They are very thorough in explaining everything and making sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Samantha, the office manager, worked so hard to get me in when my insurance provider was being stupid and telling me the office didn't accept my insurance, when they actually did. Excellent staff! I was able to be seen the day after I called and not only did they solve my dental issue but hell set me in the right path for finishing my dental implant. Dr. Gubernick listened to all of my concerns and was very knowledgeable. Being new to the Tampa area, I have no problem saying I will be returning to FLOSS!

Went in for a new patient X-ray and cleaning and I was really happy with my experience. I was there for a total of 45 minuets and that has never been the case at any other dentist I’ve ever been to. Usually there is a lot of waiting in between each interaction, but not here. Although it was quick, the cleaning and information was thorough.

Dr. Gubernick aswered all my questions without hesitation and my no means were he or his staff pushy on any of the treatments I needed done. I am a self pay and they offered me flexible payment terms to come and get the additional work I need done to my poor molars that I have neglected for too tong. I am glad I went to my appointment today and can finally say I have a dentist I can go to and trust in the long term.
