New to the area, and was going to sage dental prior, i transferred my info from sage dental in Sarasota to Tampa. I had a really bad experience with sage dental in Tampa. I didn’t finish out my appointment with them, I immediately called around places in the area, for an appointment, and landed with Flex dental. From the 1st interaction over the phone to my recent appointment today, everything was awesome! They didn’t try to scam me, with unexpected charges. They were very professional! The hygienist was so gentle! There were no language barriers! Flex dental is the place to go if you want to feel appreciated as a customer!

I just had the pleasure of visiting Flex Dental on S. Dale Mabry in Tampa. I had x-rays, dental exam, teeth cleaning and impressions taken for night guards to prevent nocturnal grinding. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and friendly, from the receptionists to Dr. Ben to the x-ray and cleaning techs. It was probably the best dental appointment I’ve been to in the last 20 years!😁👍

Dr. Gubernick is a very compassionate and knowledgeable dentist who alleviated my anxiety about returning to the dentist for a serious procedure (root canal). Everyone in the office actually cares about your treatment and they aren’t just trying to run you through like you are part of an assembly line like all the dental offices I have visited in Tampa. I have had a routine visit, cleaning and a crown done here and have nothing negative to say about any of my visits. If you are looking for a dentist in Tampa, this place is a gem.

My first visit at Flex Dental was just perfect! Julia took some cool digital x-rays. Dr. Ben came in to introduce himself and to welcome me to the practice. He was warm and personable, and had already looked at my x-rays so we could plan for some future work. Julia provided a basic cleaning and I was out of there in less than an hour. I came as a refugee from the medical abomination that refers to itself as Greenberg dental. I had quite a few fillings done at Flex Dental. It is a night and day comparison. They are perfect in every way. My first consultation visit was very detailed. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, fair, and professional. They make dental work affordable, and don't pressure you into major decisions or sneak in fees for dubious procedures. They work quickly and efficiently and listened to all of my concerns. They are officially and unequivocally the only dentist I will recommend to anyone who needs work done!
Just moved to Tampa, but my husband moved here first months ago because of his relocation. So he already chose here for our new dentist and already had a cleaning here. I cracked a tooth and was in so much pain… They took me in quickly and root canal-ed me and got me out of pain so fast. They were vert sweet and funny and kind. I heard the doctor talking to other patients and he seemed to know everyone! They all asked about his kids. I'm a Gator, and it didn't hurt seeing the University of Florida diploma on the wall!

Big Shout out to Flex Dental.! Doctor Benjamin and staff were great.! I was in pain for about a month with a tooth ache. I found Flex Dental thru my metlife network. Filled out the online info and was contacted within 20 mins. They scheduled me same day, so within a couple hours they had me on the chair helping to relieve the pain I was having. Now Doctor Benjamin and staff will be my permeant Dentist. I'm so happy I found a great Dentistry.. The office is centrally located, staff was professional and very nice. I was on Vacation and I noticed my Jaw was locking up and I was having some pain. I called them they were able to get me an appointment same day. I've been taking the antibiotics and I'm feeling great. The price was extremely fair and they didn't push anything on me. They were very understanding of my situation. If I lived close by I would go to this dentist. Very pleased.

I was accepted as an emergency visit they took the time and care to make sure i was comfortable. I have a very huge phobia when it comes to dentists. They did everything to put me at ease and made the entire process painless. They made sure they were able to get me to a specialist within the same hour to have a root canal done. 2 hours later i am pain free and could not be happier with my experience. Came back here after a very unpleasant experience with a dental office apparently owned by a large corporation. In comparison this practice is small, intimate, and full of well-meaning honest individuals. No one ever “up-sells” anything and if a patient declines a treatment, ok, no problem, they’ll work with you. Even thought it’s a bit of a drive, I’ll probably continue to see this practice for a long time.

Good people here. Dr. Gubernick and his assistant Julyah were both delightfully easy to talk to and efficient with the cleaning/checkup. Everything was very clean and organized from front to back, which I admire as a new patient. I’ve had a lot of work done over the years and this was probably one of my best experiences. My first visit to Flex Dental was a very positive experience. The office crew was great to work with from the first phone call to arriving for my appointment and sorting out my insurance coverage. That department is an important component of good interaction with a medical practice. Then the dental staff were pleasant and informative as they helped me through X-rays and cleaning -- Renzo is a great hygienist. Dr. Gubernick was very personable and professional as he checked out my oral health and explained his approach to my treatment. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and caring -- smiles all around. Update: Still very happy after regular cleanings and a new crown. Dr. Gubernik is still running a first-class operation.

I highly recommend Flex Dental. I just moved to the area so I took a chance on a new place. The work I had done was a routine clean, filling, teeth whitening and tooth bonding to fix a small gap between my front teeth. Every bit of the work done by Dr. Gubernick, Ellie and Julia was top notch. My teeth are now two shades whiter and the gap is now gone. You could never tell the material was not my actual teeth. My insurance did not cover the whitening or the bonding as it was cosmetic but they were both surprisingly inexpensive. Also every office has a tv with HGTV on which helps distract from any discomfort. The whole team is very personable and also puts you at ease with great conversation. Julia is super funny. Will always come back here.

I was looking for a dentist closer to my place and decided to go with Flex dental. Have been here only once so far and it was a great experience. Everyone was professional, friendly and education-oriented, which I appreciate because I like to know what's being suggested and why. As someone who used to be a dental assistant herself, I have high expectations from dental offices and this one certainly met my expectations. The place was uber clean and well organized.... very pleasant to be in. The only thing that prevented a 5 star was the long wait before I was taken in. To add, no one checked with me or informed me of how long the wait would be. They were polite and courteous to acknowledge the delay once they took me in though, which I respect very much. All in all, I was happy and now my husband is their patient too. We will be back for sure.

This place was amazing. The hygienist was efficient and kind, the doctor was succinct and knowledgeable. From the moment of reception, we felt like this was the right place. I'm so happy I found this place! I used to DESPISE the dentist, but Dr. Gubernick is the best!!! I hate one of the tools frequently used during cleanings, and he not only remembered that I hated it, but also found a way around it. Plus, I get free whitenings for life! Love it here! Everybody is super friendly and playful and they work well together. Dr. Gubernick and the dental hygienist (forgot his name, sorry!) are great people and made the experience wonderful during my cleaning and fillings. They are very thorough in explaining everything and making sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Samantha, the office manager, worked so hard to get me in when my insurance provider was being stupid and telling me the office didn't accept my insurance, when they actually did. Recently paid a visit to get a cleaning done, and take a look at some cavities I had on my back molars. Doctor Renzer took care of the cleaning with great detail, took his time, and did a wonderful job. They scheduled me to come next day, and Doctor Benjamin then took care of the cavities, repaired them with excellence and lots of professionalism. There was no pain, no buggy anesthetic feels in the mouth for the whole day, so couldn't be happier about my dental hygiene right now. These two definitely make a great couple as hygienist and dentist, make sure to pay them a visit as well.

Dr Gubernick takes his time, listens to me, and explains everything in detail so that I can understand. He and Samantha (the office manager) and the rest of his staff are always upbeat and helpful. Prices are great. Samantha has given me discounts more than once off what the normal price would be.

Recently paid a visit to get a cleaning done, and take a look at some cavities I had on my back molars. Doctor Renzer took care of the cleaning with great detail, took his time, and did a wonderful job. They scheduled me to come next day, and Doctor Benjamin then took care of the cavities, repaired them with excellence and lots of professionalism. There was no pain, no buggy anesthetic feels in the mouth for the whole day, so couldn't be happier about my dental hygiene right now. These two definitely make a great couple as hygienist and dentist, make sure to pay them a visit as well.

Love it here! Everybody is super friendly and playful and they work well together. Dr. Gubernick and the dental hygienist (forgot his name, sorry!) are great people and made the experience wonderful during my cleaning and fillings. They are very thorough in explaining everything and making sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Samantha, the office manager, worked so hard to get me in when my insurance provider was being stupid and telling me the office didn't accept my insurance, when they actually did. Would definitely recommend to anybody.

I thought this place might be too good to be true after seeing the Mail advertisement. I had my first exam and cleaning this week and I couldn't recommend them more. I already have an appointment to go back and get my free teeth whitening! Everyone was so kind and the location was great too.

Excellent staff! I was able to be seen the day after I called and not only did they solve my dental issue but hell set me in the right path for finishing my dental implant. Dr. Gubernick listened to all of my concerns and was very knowledgeable. Being new to the Tampa area, I have no problem saying I will be returning to FLOSS!
Dr. Ben and his team at Floss Dental are all genuinely wonderful professionals. They made me feel right at home making sure I was comfortable every step of the way throughout the exam and cleaning. They also were able to set an appointment right away and immediately assisted me when I arrived. It has been almost two years since I visited a dentist and I wish I would have come to them sooner!

Went in for a new patient X-ray and cleaning and I was really happy with my experience. I was there for a total of 45 minuets and that has never been the case at any other dentist I’ve ever been to. Usually there is a lot of waiting in between each interaction, but not here. Although it was quick, the cleaning and information was thorough.

Today I can honestly say my experience with Dr. Gubernick and his staff was amazing and for the first time in my life I actually look forward to going back to the dentist. The office was modern, clean, and my appointment was on time. Dr. Gubernick aswered all my questions without hesitation and my no means were he or his staff pushy on any of the treatments I needed done. I am a self pay and they offered me flexible payment terms to come and get the additional work I need done to my poor molars that I have neglected for too tong. I am glad I went to my appointment today and can finally say I have a dentist I can go to and trust in the long term.

I'm so happy I found this place! I used to DESPISE the dentist, but Dr. Gubernick is the best!!! I hate one of the tools frequently used during cleanings, and he not only remembered that I hated it, but also found a way around it. Plus, I get free whitenings for life! I'm so pleased with the customer service I receive at this place, and I couldn't recommend it enough.
